Hello, Cosmo!

When I first saw the cover of this month's issue with Judy Ann Santos on the cover, I was blown away! I am so proud to have been part of this amazing team that puts out such a wonderful, dynamic read, month after month.

This issue is special, too, because one, my On My Mind piece on leaving one's comfort zone is in it, ("The Comfort Clause" p.176) and two, my Neighbor, Frances [far right in photo], looks gorgeous in one of the features ("Full Speed Ahead" p. 148). I was just raving yesterday about how her hair is so nice, and her skin, so fine (and exfoliated!). Galing!

Please grab a copy while you still can.

  1. Wow! Di ba we were just talking about this? From a fellow Summiteer, I'm proud of you for making it in the tough-as-nails world of American publishing. If you only knew how far my jaw dropped when I saw you at your mothership that humid New York afternoon. I wish you all the best and know that you'll go places at Hearst. :)

P.S. That blueberry-raspberry fruit salad was awesome! Next time, that's the only thing I'll have for lunch. Hehe.

  2. Myron! Come back, come back! For more berries and buffet! Thank you so much for the well wishes—I still have a long way to go but the Mother Ship is a roller coaster ride I'm happy to be on :)

Anyway, that day was so surreal, right? Parang we were just back in Summit, chatting away with Kate Alvarez hahaha! Food court na ito...

  3. Marielll!! Wow!! Even though I know you're a writer and everything I am always awed from what's been published. To think that I know you! LoL.

We need to hang out very soon. My classes are so overbearing. But I get a two week break in August. Hopefully we'll be able to hang out then.

Hope all is well with you!

  4. I hope to be back soon! :)
Hopefully by then, it's a job interview at Rodale, my wishful-thinking-but-will-hopefully-work-out mothership. :p

  5. Haha, I also kept this issue because of the same two reasons you gave: you and me!

(Although Vince says masyado ko raw kinareer yung pose ko.)

I'm using Pond's Age Miracle, neighbor!

  6. Sandy! For a moment I thought it was another Sandy, who teaches yoga in Manila! Thanks for the sweet comment :) Yup! Must hang out and catch up soon! Did Louie mention that I finally got to go to Rockland?

Neighbor, Pond's Age Miracle is one of the reasons why I finally decided to move to NY hehe alam mo yon :)

Myron, puwede bang rumaket sa Rodale kung makapasok ka doon? Kahit sidebar lang hehe...
